Low Island announce debut album and release new single 'Feel Young Again'
Oxford quartet Low Island have released their latest single 'Feel Young Again', along with the announcement of their debut album 'If You Could Have It All Again', out 16th April via Emotional Interference.
Having been consistently turning heads in the industry since they began releasing music, Low Island take cues from the likes of Radiohead, Glass Animals, Caribou, Talking Heads and TV on the Radio, culminating in their signature sophisticated indie-pop sound.
Vocalist Carlos Posada said of the most recent single: “Feel Young Again is about a toxic relationship; not with a person, but with a part of yourself that you need to let go of. A part of yourself that is doing you harm but because of familiarity and a fear of change, you can’t give it up. It’s about taking that thing, feeling or frame of mind for one last dance before finally letting it go.”
He describes 'If You Could Have It All Again' as a product of "ten years of trying to make things work - in music, but also in life", recounting "a litany of romantic disasters that have coloured the last ten years of my life".
