Every Thursday we’re sharing NEW MUSIC THURSDAY featuring recent discoveries, new acts we're currently listening to and our tips for the future. Now more than ever we feel it’s so important to mine the corners of the internet to find some of the wonderful creativity that abounds… Check out this week’s below:

We’re thrilled by our sister label Transgressive Records unearthing of this wonderful act. Moonchild Sanelly is South Africa’s “Queen of Gqom” - a superstar with a flow so unique it’s resulted in recent collaborations with none other than Beyoncé, Die Antwoord, Gorillaz, Diplo and Wizkid. We love her last single out a few days ago “Bashiri” - a banger! Check it out

A true unique talent which we discovered last year. Emerging from Bristol, via South-London hit-factory The Windmill, LA has been tipped by The Guardian, Loud and Quiet, DIY, Jack Saunders and Elton John (yes) as one to watch for this year. Described by the Guardian as “The kind of English eccentric we need now more than ever”,  check out the new LP today called SMASH HITS VOL.1. Listen/ order here: here.

We told you about them a few weeks ago and we’re once again urging you to listen to this band from NOLA, and their second single “Aerostar”. This single follows the previously-released funk-inspired “Shadow On The Wall” which Pitchfork included on their Pitchfork Selects list. Their forthcoming album, Pleasure Line is set for release on August 7th via NY based Windspear Records - pre order here - We just can’t wait to see them in London..

Not new to us, Baba Ali is a long time favourite at RFB and we’re thrilled to see him getting now the attention he thoroughly deserves. Baba Ali was supposed to play Peckham Audio with Dutch psych duo Feng Suave in May and we’re hopeful to get him back on stage in town soon. Listen to his new track “All the Wires” out on 30th Century Records.

Rising NYC artist., SPENCER. signed to 4AD and released his new single “Maybe” following two wonderful single “2 Much”, ‘Automatic’ and ‘Hold It Down’, with his debut full-length set to land soon - can’t wait!

NYC multi-talented artist Adi Gonzalez, aka BOSSA, recently discovered shared “QUICK,” an avant pop song which we love. The song was originally meant to go on time for Pride. We can't wait to hear more from her.

We’ve followed Tina since a while and had them play a great set with Canada’s Pottery at the Sebright Arms last year. They’ve released a new single via acclaimed record label Speedy Wunderground now, check out their song “Rosalina”.
