Mike Harounoff has been rearing his beautifully curly scalp all over the place on Rockfeedback in the past few months - helping out in the office, presenting the Underage Festival episode of Rockfeedback TV and shooting his mouth off about bands through the medium of good old fashioned music journalism on the website. It is also he who has inherited the coveted 'Basement Club' (RIP) slot of every fourth Thursday of the month at the Buffalo Bar in north London, and he's gone and filled it with a new night, put on in conjunction with Rockfeedback. It's called Home.Under.Ground. We'll let him tell you all about it... - Tom Hannan (Rockfeedback Editor)
As the famous Rockfeedback Basement Club closed it doors for the last time many had a tear in their eye, reminiscing about all the amazing artists that have played there, their favourite memories etc. Well, while you were all doing that I was In the corner planning my takeover.
With this I bring you Rockfeedback presents... Home.Under.Ground - a brand spanking new club night at the Buffalo Bar in Islington, dedicated to bring you very cool music from new bands and some you've known about for a while.
It's our launch night on Thursday the 27th of November, and joining us to make it as cool as possible (which is quite cool) are:
Ezra Bang and Hot Machine
Sure to be big in 2009 with their unique brand of electro rap (which sounds a lot better than it writes) , they toured with Public Enemy earlier this year - and if it's good enough for Flava Flav then it's good enough for me.

Minnaars
Set to release their debut EP [produced by Tom from Forward Russia] Minnaars are a Leicestershire 5 piece with their own brand of progressive indie that takes over both your feet and brain as you find yourself pulling of your best moves but also stroking your beard and nodding your head at the musicianship of the band.
DJ sets from: Home.Under.Ground / Swanton Bombs / Rockfeedback / DJ Cassoulet - Indie.Electro.Alternative.Pop at its finest with the old and new played side by side to ensure a party.
Come. We're at the Buffalo Bar, 259 Upper Street, Islington, London. Doors open at 8. Entry is £6 on door/£5 if you can sweet talk the door man.
