"I work all week just to get it on..."
I feel like I've heard all this before. The tune, the lyrics, the sound, it all. "I don't want to look at you anymore, I don't want to fight with you anymore." No passion in his voice at all, no dispassion either - just a careless mumble of something that sounds like he wrote it on a Thursday afternoon at school.
I just don't think this sensation is worth an entire 4 minutes and 37 seconds. I could smoke a fag in that time probably. I could listen to '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction' in that time instead. Now that's a song about being bored that is worth its time. 'Wait for the Weekend' is not.
Anyway, you don't need to wait for the weekend - go out on weekdays if you're that desperate. Heck, I'm off out now...
