But in my musical travels I've learnt that there's one detector you can count on to deceiver the good from the bad each and every time. And that's your shoes.
Whether they are tapping, jumping, sliding or standing, you know the boots don't lie, and in the case of Blood Red Shoes, all movement indicates brilliance. 'This is Not for You' really is for everyone, an adolescently toned sweet rock song with more than a generous dash of decadence in the coupling of such a sombre key with the taunting assertion, "Let's pretend that everything is just fine", Blood Red Shoes walk blood through our childhood bedroom in this powerful fourth single.
Indeed, this talented multi-layering two are yet to leave these boots short of a beat.
