I can imagine the video to this song would feature rays of sunshine, light fluffy clouds, and green, green grass. 'Morning Tide' is a buoyantly happy song. That fit indie chick you thought you loved when you first set eyes on her in the local club, it could have been this track playing at the time that helped distort your inebriated judgement into a vision of pure enchantment.
The backdrop to 'Morning Tide' has a warm, fuzzy synth pad, with simple, dreamy vocals providing the main melody to the track. It has a definite sixties beach sound, and an upbeat romanticism that could offend if you're particularly cantankerous.
I think the kooky effeminate guys who advise girls about their makeup will love holding hands to this song. Not that I'm saying that's bad thing though; there's room for the hulkish brute of a man to coyly enjoy it, too.
