Aim - 'Good Disease'

It's going to be very difficult to dislike a record whose press-release declares it to be the perfect remedy to the dreaded Ibiza-club, 18-30 summer lunacy we have forced down our throats every year...

Andy Turner, a.k.a. Aim, deals with the musical side of things on his latest 45, 'Good Disease', whilst Babybird mainman Stephen Jones provides his typically understated vocals in this serene tribute to nothing much: fittingly, the opening line of 'Sitting on the grass in the summer breeze/ Looking at the wind tease the leaves,' sets the tone for the whole record; Mungo Jerry's 'In the Summertime' for the year 2002, if you will.

And, yes, it does beat hard-house and trance all season long, doesn't it?
