After 100,000 album sales in just a mere couple of months, a sell-out debut London appearance at the Playhouse Theatre and a personal profile that's as similarly fast rising, Matt Hales, AKA Aqualung, must be moderately beside himself with delirious joy at present.
Well, that's what you'd suspect at least, until the mournful dinginess of 'Good Times Gonna Come' surges through your stereo, palpitations of fizzing bass and Hales' own endearing wail glistening and dumbfounding potentially anyone this side of Thom Yorke.
So, continuing the formula with which thus far has rewarded him admirable notoriety, it seems that now Matt's cottoned on to a winning-formula, he ain't due to back out on it just yet. Phew, a relief it is, too.
