It's Britpop, sure, but not as we once knew it. With 'Beautiful', The Good Ship Athlete continues her admirable progression through the Sea Of Indie-Pop-With-A-Twist, as kindred spirits Electric Soft Parade, Mull Historical Society and Kid Galahad sail valiantly alongside her.
This cheeky four-piece may even be traditional enough to retain the epic chorus, but this is most definitely music designed and best served within the 21st century.
