More of the heavy stuff following the standard quiet-loud-quiet-loud formula - only this time more the loud, and lacking the intricate minor-scale tones and striking vocal dynamics that made 'Cochise' such a shit-hot hit.
It will certainly get the fans ricocheting about the stadium, but - tragically - 'Show Me How To Live' never quite gets past stadium set-filler status. The most promising part of the track is the end (not in a detrimental sense), where Cornell's voice becomes almost sitar-like and the sound transforms to one of the Far East. If only the rest of the spinning-time were so extraordinary.
