Biffy Clyro - 'Eradicate The Doubt' (Beggars Banquet)
4/5
By: Toby L

Scots kings of the manic-quiet-insane-sober school-of-dementia, what Biffy Clyro may miss out on in niche-y fashion-rock circles via their trudging plight of subtlety-lacking punk-noise, they more than benefit from in terms of stature as the nihilistic group for the people.
Just listen to those live-recordings on latest EP-package - so tight, so fierce, so f**king undeniable in their effectiveness of cascading the skull with a guitar-shaped sledge-hammer, whilst not forgetting to heap on melody in ample doses (just why wasn't '57' a hit, you wonder, entirely flummoxed?). 'Eradicate The Doubt', the sole studio-effort, as if not enough of an attraction, meanwhile - is a searing, four-minute, all-over-the-place, new-wave-post-punk-hardcore-f**k-genres rib-cracker. As such - go buy.
