Black Car - 'Asleep At The Wheel' (Altered States)

You can't fault Dan 'Glenders' Glendinning's ambition, that's for certain.
'Asleep At The Wheel' drearily, wearily, slots into Radiohead overdrive for the first half-minute, before tensing into a growling shudder of sturdy alt-rock. Far more straight-forward is the US-ish growl of '100% Proof' ('I don't give a f**k if it rains', Glenders blares in a hearty outburst), or minimalist piano plinking of 'Road Trip'.
Disarmingly driven and focussed for an introduction, now we're acquainted - please sir, we'd like to meet again.
