It's difficult to wonder where the raucous, blues-rock stomp and swaggering bravado of The Blueskins would fit in if it weren't for the fact it's all so en vogue, en ce moment, darling.
But testament to this bunch of northern train-wrecks, 'User Friendly' marks a three-track debut of a thrillingly noisy blend of chaos and pissed-up franticness that some of their contemporaries would be wise to employ. Best of the bunch is the barely two-minute closer, 'Blue Sneakers' - The Libertines duelling with The White Stripes in rush-hour traffic to a sweltering, slightly bloody consequence.
