To be any more cocaine than Tim Burgess' debut solo-single, would be but to become the drug itself.
Maybe it's the shuffling acoustic-playfulness of the track's engrossing minimalism, or tappy, clappy percussion and enriching organ, or - even - the inlay-sleeve's image of a burning chicken playing the sax (no, really), but we at rockfeedback can't help but acknowledge a serious chemical-charm to Burgess' altogether more stripped-back and warmer new workings.
And, shockingly, coupled with a joyously soulful cover of the Marley-sung 'Who The Cap Fit', it all works shatteringly well.
