Burning Brides - 'Glass Slipper EP' (V2)
4/5

And so a band that rockfeedback originally (and accidentally) stumbled across on their first ever UK tour way back at the start of the year release their debut-EP at long last. The wait was worth it.

Much like their paramount live-show during that particularly unassuming night, the unrestrained, towering riffage is more thunderous than a nuclear-scuffle when Burning Brides get down to it; lead-track 'Glass Slipper' proves the most immediate, yet garage-rock of the release, making way for the ensuing likes of the enthrallingly brooding, sleepy dreariness of 'Blood On The Highway' and the fantastically-entitled, full-on head-butt of 'Overhead Metal Erection'. Rock on.
Three tracks; that's all it takes. Hell, we loved The Strokes after just that numba of original, inaugural tunes. Now love Burning Brides.
