With a chorus that proclaims 'Get up, get out and get loose', you know exactly what you're getting with The D4: rock and roll so turbo-charged and driven that, before you know where you're at, you're reaching for the gel, comb and mirror and massaging your hair into a sexy slither of grease that James Dean would have winked at.
For the current surge of energy to be found in what will soon be heralded '2002 R 'N' R' most possibly, is something to grasp on to whilst it's here; bands so simply focussed and pummelling such as The D4 can't exist forever - and it's time to grab as many thrilling 45's as this to add a touch of excitement to your record-collection when the powers that be inevitably decide that this sort of music is too passé, darling... Curse the day such a decision happens.
