Shock! A further re-release from the Warhols! And this one wasn't even featured in a telly-commercial that repeated endlessly on UK TV!
OK, OK, enough of the cynicism; the music's the stuff we're here for. Seemingly, 'Get Off' hasn't aged badly in the two years since it was first originally put on stacked and unnoticed shelves in Britain, and the notion that it's going to be a 'hit' is very exciting news indeed. After all, The Dandy Warhols have certainly been one of the key under-rated rock 'n' roll bands of the last half-decade, in terms of both of their lazy-cool image and ace singles, and this acoustic-strumming anthemic fast number is certainly worthy of the recognition it's warranted in recent weeks.
Let's hope the public don't mess up again and fail to pick up on what is essentially a very fine piece of music. Come on, guys - let's make this group rich!
