'Plan A'... where vocalist of the Warhols, Courtney Taylor, provides his finest falsetto to date.
He's got reason to - with Duran Duran's Nick Rhodes in the production-chair, and Simon LeBon in the next room laying down backing-vocals, there's some groundwork to be done here. 'Plan A', then, is an airy, futuristic-pop song, ridden with the infectious refrains that typify a DW's single, graced with a floating mantra - 'All of us... All of us sing about it' - which will swill around in the mind long after the track has faded.
And, despite the present special-guests of yore, this is as timely and forward-pushing as any contemporary sleaze-rock band could attest to. Off the beaten track, certainly, but directed towards realms no less worthy.
