To think that Doves could follow the impossible genius of 'There Goes The Fear' with yet another golden-gem... Opening with a military-precision, stomping drum-beat and an en vogue cheeky Strokes-riff, plus hurtling feedback, before 'Pounding' has even evolved into its utterly accessible and dreamy killer of an infectious chorus, you already know that the Manc three-piece are on form once again.
Currently within their own Renaissance period, the Williams and Goodwin are rightful heirs to the 2002 crown of most relevant come-backs; their latest single is just a mere confirmation of such a fact - go get current LP 'The Last Broadcast' for further evidence.
