The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster - 'Celebrate Your Mother' (No Death)

The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster - 'Celebrate...'

Contender for the quirkiest rock-single of 2002, Brighton's top beau's, The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster (just try saying that with a full mouth) are back with a distinctly moody, bleak ode to celebrating the mummies in our lives. At least that's what you'd expect from the somewhat rose-tinted, affectionate artwork.

'I wanna f**k your mother/It's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it well,' singer Guy hurtles demonically towards the messy end of this guitar-dominated thrash-riot of dark chord-sequences and attention-commanding, implausibly calculated drum-patterns and bass-heavy palpitations that form this disgustingly vital piece of music. It's, obviously, bloody fantastic.
