Less abrasive than on prior excursions, angular punk-trickery upstarts Electrelane are joining the 'it'-league all of a sudden.
After all, it's this kind of stuff that's flooding the London and NYC dancefloors - intricate, steely guitar-plucks, throbbing bass-lines and yelpy vocals reminiscent of a freshly run-over cat that's just lost a war with a lawnmower. And like the result of our feline friend and the victorious garden apparatus - it's all rather a glorious, if unsettling, mess.
