Don't you just hate novelty singles? Incessantly catchy, some quirky joke, random shouting of naughty words... hang on - 'I wanna take you to a gay bar, gay bar, GAY BAR!'

So yes, as we were saying, novelty singles...
Actually, not for one minute do you believe that this is a joke. Make no mistake, 'Gay Bar' rocks very hard indeed, and although every bit of it is completely nonsensical, it's done with some frightening intensity.
Oh yes, the 6's latest starts with a riff that's so filthy it's as if it's just fallen from the pages of a top-shelf magazine, and then provided an offer you can't refuse.
Electric Six are wonderfully bizarre, delightfully sleazy and frankly, more entertaining than anything else you'll hear all year. And you, you lucky thing, they want to take you to a Gay Bar. You'd be mad not to go with them.
