The Faint - 'Agenda Suicide' (City Slang)
4/5
By: Toby L

'You can follow logic...' cites frontman Todd Baechle of The Faint as an opening sentiment in this - a re-release of their classic debut of 2002, a synths-heavy rampage of rollicking infusions of eerie guitars and Baechle's own haunting declarations - yet never once does his band seem to take after its own advice. Thankfully.
That The Faint exist in such an overtly frantic and commanding capacity is a real boon for current times, hilariously forthright and just a tad camp. The only problem (or is it ours..?) is that because the loopy quintet are not definable by a mere 20-second sound-bite, they may threaten to miss out on all the full glory of Barclay Trust Funds or even basking in the joy of having just performed a belter to a full 5,000-seater. In which case, many people are going to be missing out on something supremely special.
