Following a barrage of instantly memorable top-20 belters - 'Buck Rogers', 'Seven Days In The Sun' and 'Just A Day', anyone? - Feeder look set to continue the formula for their latest single, 'Come Back Around', the Welsh/Japanese duo's first signs of new material since the tragic passing of their drummer, Jon Lee.
Meaty bass, guitars that almost leap and lurch out from the speakers, and a chorus jaunty enough to merit relentlessly repetitive excursions on daytime radio, 'Come Back Around' is the band on form, at the peak of their field, and brightly waving the flag for energetic, up-tempo rock-pop. Despite all the heartache since they were last with us, Feeder remain as joyously necessary as ever.
