Goldrush - 'Same Picture' (Virgin)

They may now share their name with any number of US country and western combos, but Oxfordshire five-piece Goldrush were, apparently, once known as Whispering Bob, a moniker almost certainly unique to themselves.
Happily, their music makes them stand out a mile: 'Same Picture' is a gorgeous three-minute slice of folk-tinged, Travis-meets-Teenage Fanclub hazy summer pop. Originally released on indie Truck Records last year, a major-label push could spark, well, a goldrush if given the proper exposure... And how fitting/convenient would that be?
