Lurking underneath every genius, presumably, is a smidgeon of naffness.
But what happens when that rule is turned upside-down - naffness over genius? Enter Har Mar's latest single - a laughably pummelling Prince/Michael Jackson shake-a-thon with as much class ('Keep it rockin'!' he exclaims) and dignity (those abominable remixes) as Dido.
Curiously, however, maybe via the deftly sleek vocals, the joyous stage-show, or wilful sense-of-humour and good-will about the whole ordeal, but HMS still remains an entertaining intrigue to lighten up an otherwise stiff-upper-lipped indie-elite.
