The Keys - 'Strength Of Strings' (Too Pure)
3/5
By: Toby L

If woolly jumpers could make music, presumably, it'd sound like this.
Twanging, Shadows guitars, understated vocals and dashings of reverb layered on top, 'Strength Of Strings' is a wholeheartedly loveable ode to Gene Track's 1970 track of the same name, more 50's than 00's, with soothing harmonies that'd (probably not) convert the most ritualistic of death-metal followers.
Student-indie brilliant.
