Late Night Sneaky - 'Purr Project' (Distinct'ive Breaks)

Apparently the concoction from nine San Francisco-based 'late night druggies, sex addicts and rock star gonna-be's', 'Purr Project' is the debauched DJs' and producers' latest endeavour at soundtracking the essential backdrop to their rampant forms of socialising.
So, sirens-a-blaring, Daft Punk-isms by the bucket-load (think their 'Aerodynamic' being churned around in a blender with The Prodigy's 'Voodoo People', not to mention DJ Shadow on a more coherent, less sinister morning and we're almost there...) plus enough teasing sampled vocal-effects to suggest someone is locked within a disturbing state of intoxicated bliss - and that's an edgy, floor-filling masterpiece completed.
With two mixes of similar accolade (the 'Furr Mix' perhaps more immediate, what with its inaugural, thumping club-happy pulse and endearing acoustic-guitar nearing its outro) and LNS have created a dance record that should suit the morbid and high-spirited vinyl-spinners alike; mmm, sleaze never felt this good before.
