Another band perpetuating the post-punk LonYork sound of the 80's, Longwave deftly carry the listener back to the quiet desperation and reserved guitars that made bands such as Joy division such an engaging spectacle of simmering human breakdown.
The word 'atmospheric' is often associated with Longwave. Rightly so, since their songs, like those of US Comrades Interpol, portray haunting snippets of people going to pieces in unforgiving cities that never sleep.
