Memorable, moving alt-pop with a radio-friendly edge? Yup, it's just another in a long line of such spangling modern-classics for the Mobster.
'Extreme Ways', however, is notable for the very fact that - although it's essentially Moby's trademark keyboards and somehow uplifting melancholy throughout - our fave NYC vegan is singing as if his heart was on the line, his croaks and endearing vocals ridding of the static, deadpan delivery of 'We Are All Made Of Stars' or the shuffly 'Porcelain'; he's proving himself to be as wildly humane as us for a change. And who would have thought that from such a strange being.
Love him, loathe him now - he'll win us all over in the end.
