MCS have all the chic suaveness of leather-patch adorning teachers at a teenage-attended disco; awkward, confused, yet somehow intriguing to behold.
Debut single 'My Favorite Accident' is indie-emocore at its most ebulliently hyperactive, Moog-endowed and frantic, Justin Pierre's desperate bellows and proclamations presumably rather wearing after a full album's worth.
Still, at least Motion City Soundtrack are possessive of one thing most are too distracted to include amongst their 'How To Be A Top Musician' hit-list: yearning spirit.
