Nada Surf return with their first single for, literally, years in the shape of the energised, up-tempo rock-pop of 'The Way You Wear Your Head', one of the band's more astute moments from the charming current LP, 'Let Go'.
From the bobbing guitar-intro, oddly reminiscent of fellow NYC's Casablancas and co, it's by the time the sweeping harmonies of the chorus lock you in that the 'Surf's true sensitive embraces with gentle distortion and affecting vocals allow themselves to truly dazzle. And a group capable of moving music in either side of the fast/slow league, this is a fitting re-introduction to a group deserving of a revitalised return to the spotlight.
