Oasis - 'The Hindu Times' (Big Brother)
4/5
By: Matt Tomiak

'...Cos God give me a soul in your rock n' roll band / I can get so high, I just can't feel it.'
... And so returns the glorious swagger of Liam Gallagher: last reported sighting - 1994.
Despite containing a riff reminiscent of Kula Shaker covering Stereophonics' 'Same Size Feet', Oasis' euphoric comeback single is the big, bold, brash return to form that we all so desperately craved.
If 'Hindu Times'' sumptuous multi-layered approach is indicative of the bands' fifth studio LP - as Radio One 'Evening Session' DJ and grand high priest of indie, Steve Lamacq predicts - we are all in for a bit of a treat. Undoubtedly, Oasis fans' appetites will be well and truly whetted. Roll on Finsbury Park.
