Erlend Oye - 'Sheltered Life'

Ever-laborious is it a task to reminisce the days when Erlend Oye, one half the inspiration for acoustic-strummers Kings Of Convenience, was far more obsessed with creating blissful, contemplative odes to the surrounding wilderness and life itself than penning his own Europop electro-ditties.

Still, here we are faced with more of his engaging solo-work - minimalist, stark production-duties colliding with Oye's unassuming vox and playful keyboard tinkles and welcoming electronica that's as similar to his former produce as Beck is to 'Pop Star' winners, Girls Aloud.
