Parva - 'Good Bad Right Wrong' (Mantra)

Ever since The Beach Boys, having a vocalist with the surname 'Wilson' surely bodes well for any pop combo... And, sure enough, in 'Good Bad Right Wrong', Leeds five-piece Parva and their catchiness-credentials, led by Ricky Wilson, provide efficient, sing-along choruses all the way...
However, Parva's ability for such a melodic-knack is an idiosyncratic, enterprising take on the standard indie power-pop template. As such, direct comparisons are hard to pinpoint. Coupled with enigmatic lyrics, 'When I was good/I couldn't have been any more bad/And when I was right/I couldn't have been any more wrong', a highly engaging track results.
With Parva's debut, the initial vibrations are good.
