The Polyphonic Spree - 'Hanging Around'

Classical-indie with a joyously psychedelic twist is the new it, my friends, and here to tell us all about is a mysterious man with a compelling stare, Tim DeLaughter, and he's brought with him 24 of his friends on brass, guitars, bass, drums, and choral singing-duties...

The Polyphonic Spree don't even have to produce incredible singles, but the fact they do is our blessing; 'Hanging Around' is the exact sort of immediately infectious and hopelessly, jaunty and gigantic single-furores that bands one-eighth of their size just cannot ever produce.

If you're not going to jump on-board the praise-bus for this latest buzz, then, as DeLaughter clearly croons, 'God only knows what you're missing'.
