The Polyphonic Spree - 'Soldier Girl (Remixes)'

And so the favour be returneth... Following their own reconstruction therapy of Death In Vegas' 'Scorpio Rising', The Poly's get their own incendiary blast of brass-strings-rock given the turn-over by Fearless and Holmes.

So, as expected, what ensues is an intriguingly re-arranged cacophony of sound-scapes, textures and dynamic bizarreness of their rousing 'Soldier Girl', worked lovingly into a choir-less piece of epic space-majesty, and showcasing vocalist Tim DeLaughter's throaty whines in all their stripped-back, yelping glory.

With further noise regurgitation on display and some, frankly, trippy instrumentals to boot - this is as glorious a head-f**k as they come.
