The Radio Dept. - 'Liebling' (Rex)

One suspects that if The Radio Dept.'s Mary Chain-esque guitar shudder wasn't covered in a plethora of blaring white-noise, Krautrocky drum-machines and illegal smatterings of reverb, it wouldn't sound distinctively as brooding as this for an end-product.
So, yes, there are tunes lurking in there somewhere - none more worthy than the dreamy warmth of a cascading 'We Would Fall Against The Tide', washing synths and dulcet vocals the benchmark, save for an even more alluring 'Liebling'.
Altogether, not so much a good start as a fantastic one; more please.
