'Yes, I long for adventure,' beckons Nottingham's Scout Niblett, between bouts of spontaneous, Shellac-like drums and squealing guitars (fitting, seeing as Shellac frontman and producer-legend Steve Albini is at the helm of this fine, minimalist recording).
And, truly, it's as inviting as the avant-garde rock-scene can get - both stark, yet vivid, and charmingly original in the process... Makes you wonder just what those in the Midlands have got leaking into their water-system to spawn such provocative, daring matter as this.
