A Cooper Temple Clause meets The Hives debut offering from a Lamacq-approved Nottingham sextet, Seachange's first single fits comfortably alongside the frantically voguish likes of The Datsuns, The Pattern and The D4. Yet, despite this, there's just enough sheer Icarus Line/Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster urgency and anguish herein to inspire frightfully frivolous excitement.
And, given its title, it's refreshing that radio-stations and media have been provided with the 'clean' edit of the track. It would be a shame, after all, if a little profanity was to dampen the potential impact that its arrival could mark.
