25 years on and it still stands colossal - the legend: untainted by time, toxicants, or, indeed, the truth. Many, many great writers have, and will continue, to discuss this record and this band.
After all, 'God Save The Queen' is quite possibly the greatest single of all time. No matter that it started and finished over a quarter of a century ago: nothing before or since shattered the existing musical landscape as utterly as punk as The Sex Pistols. Reassuringly, as proven with this re-release in time for the Queen's Golden Jubilee, it will never be too late to remind yourself of this fact.
