'Sleep On Needles', Lerche's second-single, is a scintillating ode, composed on quietly-toned electric-guitar and amidst a unique singing-croon that could set hearts on fire on immediate exposure to such a rich resonance; even the b-side, a live-version of the track, loses none of the relish, the stripped-down arrangement offering an intensely intimate exchange with the fast-rising talent.
With live-shows evoking and drumming up similar praise, you're well-advised to keep your ears alert to the fine-tuned sound of a young man's heart being opened up in public (believe us, that just sounds worse than it really is).
