Star Spangles - 'Stay Away From Me'

Following their sold-out 'Which Of The Two Of Us...' debut-release, New York's Star Spangles are back, demonstrating yet more bravado-swaggering bar-rock, the rugged likes of which were last seen circa '77.

So, it's all Sex Pistols and classic punk with their superior follow-up, 'Stay Away From Me', a snarling growler not really about much - just a f**k-you to some chaps, and a mouthpiece for the band's equally noteworthy haircuts, each member's own 'do resembling a different member of a furry, possibly flea-ridden womble community. Brasher than a bottle scraped across your forehead, and immediately more satisfying, this is a crushingly nasty bit of goods.
