Pixies-like instrumental-breaks and femme-fatale backing-vox, although unquestionably derivative of their US alt-heroes, NYC's Stellastarr* score points for looking farther afield on frantic, enraged second single to date, 'Jenny' - as ludicrous, OTT and fervently explosive as indie often gets, replete with thunderous bass and demented vocalist Shawn's infectious yelps.
And if it's eccentricity dangling across the fine line between lock-up-asylum-insanity and downright compelling, you're in luck - for there's spades more of this such riot in store for us yet.
