The Suffrajets - 'Hold These Eyes' (Poolside)

The name gives it away; after all, any girl-populated guitar band calling themselves after a nineteenth century militant feminist movement are unlikely to be lacking in the attitude department now, are they?
The Suffrajets, seemingly, have such a mood in heavy abundance; the five tracks on their inaugural 'Hold These Eyes' EP are all under three and a half minutes long, exude a heavy, menacing edge, and still successfully manage to ooze a classic rock sensibility.
Really, in such a male-dominated musical environment, The Suffrajets would be a most welcome addition to the scene.
