After the defining top-5 entrance of TB's last single 'Pain Killer' into the hit-parade, South London's Gale and Olly return with yet a further slice of pre-summer warmth, presumably to sooth away the dreary showers and icy winds that we each year swear shouldn't be occurring quite so late into the calendar.
'Average Man', the third egg hatched from their mightily-selling, second album 'Ether Song', is a sleepy, melodic acoustic dreamer, much in the vein of past career delight and debut single, 'The Door'. Though no departure from anything previous, the next time raindrops fall on your head and this beams out from a passing car-stereo, we defy you to not at least raise a reassured, genial smile.
