If only all pop were as calculated as Venus Hum, resplendent with a credibility enhanced by a tinge of rampant, Bjork-esque vocal inflections, fluid dance-jives and an overriding innocence which prohibits the result from sounding anything other than relatively adorable.
Funny, because you'd swear such chirpy fruitfulness would derive from somewhere la-de-da and cleansed like, oh I don't know, Scandinavia - not the actual location as pinpointed in the track's title. Still, further proof that it ain't where you're from that counts, so long as the ensuing matter is as stealthily endearing as this electronic-tinged introduction to what could turn out to be a rather inviting career.
