From the uber-upbeat, perky drums, chipper guitar and punchy bass, only frontman Craig Nicholls' wild howls and screams can save us now, transforming The Vines' latest single 'Outtathaway!' into the sleazy college-rock anthem it initially begs to be. A three-minute blast of punk-fuelled pop that will find its way on to head-nodding students and greasy-haired drop-outs alike, one thing's for sure: this band is still unstoppable.
