Violent Delight's initials are VD. And - would you credit it?! - 'VD' also stands for 'Venereal Disease'!! That's VENEREAL - as in SEX!!
So, yeah, you know exactly where you stand with London's naughtiest, that's for sure. Their chug-a-long punk-rock, singer Rodney's Billy Joe Armstrong-styled sneer and profanity-peppered lyrics will undoubtedly find their fair share of youthful admirers.
Still, 'Same Old Story' is a haven of musical sophistication when compared to spine-chilling b-side 'Parental Guidance', a horribly graphic account of middle-aged lust. Oh well, at least they don't have any 'issues'.
