Let's 'AVE IT! No wonder the UK is importing more bands from the States than ever before when the sound is this convincingly rigid, performed with the sort of ballsy guts and melodic-inclination that our fellow Brits are too often, simply, terrified to produce.
Thirty seconds in, and if you're not falling on the floor in absolute disbelief that something so rollickingly unashamed and raucously f**king rocking is legally allowed to exist, then you're basically an arsehole. For the lighter-edged, a darkly churning 'All Gone Again' follows, and WLM, like all great sleaze-merchants, soon tire of not delivering full-throttle, leather-coated glam-punk-r'n'r, going on to aurally beat us 'round the head with a Mansun-y 'Open Your Eyes' and headache-inducing 'Semi-Precious'.
'It's Happening', they self-righteously proclaim on this, their first ever release. Too true.
